Skincleanze Wart & Verruca Cream (50g)

Skincleanze wart cream is a targeted treatment for warts and verrucas containing powerful active ingredients proven to be just as effective but much more affordable than cryotherapy. The cream is also suitable and safe to use on corns and calluses.

Warts are caused by an infection known as human papillomavirus (HPV). Most people will develop warts or verrucas at some point in their lifetime, however, they often affect children and teenagers more than adults. Warts are small lumps that vary in appearance and can develop singly or in clusters usually on the hands and fingers. Verrucas are warts that develop on the soles of the feet.

Warts and verrucas are contagious and they can be caught by close skin-to-skin contact. The infection can also be transmitted indirectly from contaminated objects or surfaces. Without treatment, it can take two years or more for warts to disappear.

Directions

To use, soak the wart in warm water for 5 minutes to soften the area. Dry the skin and use an emery board or pumice stone to gently file the wart down slightly. Finally, apply a small amount of cream to the wart. Repeat this daily until the wart or verruca has gone.

The active ingredients can damage healthy skin so before applying the cream always protect the surrounding skin. You can use petroleum jelly or corn plasters to cover the skin around the wart.

Aqua, Cetearyl alcohol, Glyceryl stearate, PEG 100 stearate, Glycerin, Sulphur powder, Paraffinum liquidum, Salicylic acid, Phenoxyethanol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (tea tree oil), Xanthan gum, Imidazolidinyl urea, Ethylhexylglycerine, Limonene.

Safety

For external use only. Do not ingest. Do not use on irritated skin. Check the ingredient list for allergens. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, if contact occurs rinse thoroughly with water. Not suitable for treating facial warts or genital warts. Ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice regarding treating areas other than your hands and feet. Not suitable for use on children under the age of 3 years. Avoid jewellery coming into contact with the cream as tarnishing may occur. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
